Volunteering with TCHRD can be a rewarding experience irrespective of your cultural background. Every year, TCHRD welcomes individuals, preferably with some experience and knowledge in human rights issues, international law and Chinese law, to volunteer and intern at our office in Dharamsala.
Here are some resources on research fellowship opportunities with TCHRD: The Forgotten International, University Cork College (Ireland), The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education, Level: Changing Lives Through Law, Empowering the Vision, Former Fellow: Genevieve Chan, Former Fellow: Kathryn Culver, Former Fellow: Peter Boaz, Former Fellow: Alisa Webber, Former Fellow: Toan Do, Former Fellow: Claire Grote, Former Fellow: Hillary Amster, Former Fellow: Michael Schowalter Jr, and many more.
In the past, volunteers have worked on assisting TCHRD’s researchers in monitoring, documenting, and drafting reports and briefings on human rights situation in Tibet.
